Itinerary
07:00 AM: Pickup from your hotel and transfer to Tambomachay (3,700m/12,139ft).
Begin a gradual ascent to 4,200m (13,779ft), where breathtaking panoramic views of Qoricocha Lagoon (4,050m/13,287ft) await.
Continue through the traditional Andean village of Pukamarca (3,100m/10,170ft), where we will stop for a delicious lunch.
Explore ancient Inca architecture, including terraces, ceremonial sites, and stone pathways.
Hike through a narrow canyon along an original Inca trail leading to a spectacular viewpoint overlooking the Sacred Valley and Huchuy Qosqo.
Arrive at Huchuy Qosqo, a remarkable archaeological complex featuring two-story chambers, patios, farming terraces, and a sophisticated water system.
In the end stay the overnight at local family house and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by Andean beauty.
07:00 AM: Begin the two-hour descent to Lamay village, where our transport will take us to Ollantaytambo.
Enjoy lunch in Ollantaytambo, a charming town known for its well-preserved Inca ruins.
12:58 PM: Board the scenic train to Machu Picchu Town (Aguas Calientes).
Upon arrival, our local representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.
Spend the rest of the day exploring the lively town, relaxing in the hot springs, or visiting the Machu Picchu Museum. Or take a short walk to the hot spring.
At a set time, our guide will come to your hotel and transfer to the bus station.
Enjoy a scenic 30-minute bus ride along the Hiram Bingham Road to Machu Picchu Citadel.
Guided tour of Machu Picchu’s most iconic sites, including the astonishing terraces, walls, buildings, temples, sacred squares, and drainage system surrounded by rugged mountains and deep canyons with spectacular views.
Optional Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain hike (must be booked in advance).
02:55 PM: Board the train from Machu Picchu Town to Ollantaytambo.
Upon arrival, our guide will transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco, concluding our incredible journey.
