Itinerary
- 05:00 AM – Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and drive to the community of Tauca (3,760 MASL) in Chinchero.
- Morning Trek – Begin your ascent to the first pass at 4,200 MASL, enjoying stunning views of Piuray Lagoon (3,700 MASL) and Qoricocha Lagoon (4,050 MASL). Continue to the highest point of the trek at 4,900 MASL, where you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panorama of the Andes.
- Descent into the Valley – As we descend, the vegetation becomes lush and vibrant. We will reach a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Sacred Valley before arriving at the Huchuyqosqo archaeological complex.
- Exploration & Lunch – Our expert guide will provide an insightful tour of Huchuyqosqo, revealing its historical and cultural significance. Enjoy a delicious lunch while admiring the stunning surroundings.
- Afternoon Descent to Lamay – Continue the hike down to the village of Lamay, where our private transport will be waiting.
