On this adventure discover the diverse geography of Peru. Visit the city of the colonial sovereignty, enjoy the breeze of the Pacific Ocean, and go through the driest desert of the world and spot beautiful valleys and oasis in between. Take a tour to the Ballestas islands, overview the mystical Nazca Lines, and walk through the unique mud made city. Visit the white city of Arequipa and its majestic buildings. Navigate the highest lake of Titicaca and explore its floating communities. Finally get to Cusco “capital of the Inca empire”, where you will explore and walk through the famous Inca citadel known as “Machupicchu”.

Itinerary

Welcome to main colonial city of Lima. At your arrival in the city (international airport in Lima) we will be ready to pick you up and take you to your arranged hotel. Depending of your arrival time, take time to relax or enjoy the surroundings.

At coordinate time (approx. 01:30pm) we will pick you up in order to take you to the bus station where you will board a bus towards Paracas (04 hours). Once here, one of our representative will welcome you and take you to your hotel.

At: 07:30am, you will be transferred to the seaport to board a boat towards Ballestas islands. In this tour you will be able to appreciate a valuable sample of biodiversity, such as sea lions, cormorants, Peruvian Bobbies, sea gull, Inca tern (Larosterna Inca) and so on. Approximately at10:15am, you will board a bus towards Ica where one of our representative will be awaiting for you in order to take you on a tour through the city. In this tour you will appreciate a colonial buildings church and cathedral. After we will visit the regional museum of Ica, host of valuable historical remaining of local ancient cultures. As we continue, we will stop at the Huacachina lagoon in order to walk around, get on dune buggies along the area, and perhaps practice sandboarding. After you will be taken to the bus station in order to board a bus towards Nazca (02h, 45’). In Nazca one of our representative will transferred you to your accommodation.

At 07:00am you will be picked from your hotel in order to be taken to the airdrome of Maria Reiche. Here you will get on a plane to fly over the Nazca lines and observe different figures and lines on a land that covers over 500 skm2. Some of the giant features that can be appreciated are: (whale, astronaut, condor, monkey, dog, hand, tree, pelican, parrot, lizard, hummingbird etc. and hundreds of lines running across the desert floor). At the end of this activity, we will head towards to the archaeological site of Chauchilla host of pre Inca tombs. In this place you will be able to take a look of uncovered human remains which still are well preserved. From here, we will returned to the city in order to visit the town with its unique markets and main squares. Later at night, you will be transferred to the bus station where so you can board a bus towards Arequipa (approx.10 hours).

At your arrival time, you will meet our local representative at the bus station to transfer you to a selected hotel. At any time of your preference, you could start exploring the charm of this white city. Visit the monastery of Santa Catalina, the cathedral, the Andean sanctuary museum of the ice girl mommy “Juanita”, and the colonial picturesque streets. Feel free to ask about any optional activities.

Between 08:00 to 30am, we will come to your hotel to pick you up and join other participants to be lead along the winding road to the Andes. On the way there, we will stop at the National Reserve of “Pampas Cañahuas” and “Aguada Blanca”, here we will observe hundreds of South American camelids such as; vicuñas, guanacus (wilderness), llamas, and alpacas (domesticated); being these last two very important within Andean community life. Later on, we will reach to the highest point of our journey “Patapampa – Migrador de los Andes”; from which we will able to appreciate the magnificent surroundings. Finally, we will descend downwards Chivay (3,560MASL) Once in Chivay, you could take part of an Andean buffet lunch if you desire. After you are transferred onto your hotel, you could enjoy the hot spring that is just 30 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by car. If this is for you, please bear in mind to bring swimming garments. Later in the evening, you could join an Andean folkloric dinner show or simply wander along this Andean town.

At 06:00am, we will travel along the Colca Canyon embracing the scenic landscape. As soon as we arrive to the view point of Cruz del Condor, we will be extraordinary surprized by the flight of giant bird “Condor”. Bird not only considered one of the biggest bird in the world, but also a special and sacred creature within the Inca’s belief. You encourage to hike along the edge of the canyon in order to appreciate its beauty. At the end of this unique experience, our transport will be waiting for us. On the way back we will have some short breaks to contemplate the panoramic view.
Finally we will arrive to Chivay to take part of an optional lunch, then we will transfer to a bus towards Puno. This trip will take 05 ½ hours and as you arrive our local agent will assist you by taking you to your selected hotel.

At 06:30am our local presentative will be at your hotel, to transfer you to the main departure point. Once we are ready, we will head straight a way to the floating islands of Uros. Here, we will be welcomed by our local families who will show us their skills at bartering among them. Next we travel to Taquile Island (2h, 30’). Once we disembark, we will hike for 01 hour until the Andean village where you are going to have a great time mingling with locals and enriching your experience. Later we will be taken to a local restaurant that offers delicious meals with a wonderful vista. Afterwards we will descend via 500 hundred pre Inca steps until the pickup point. Once there, we will go back to Puno (approx. 03 hours)

At 07:30am, we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the bus station. From here we will board a bus towards Cusco (06 ½ h.) Although the scenic view offers a perfect opportunity to take everlasting photos, it is advisable to bring some handy entertainment items so you can have a pleasant journey. Upon you arrival, the local agent will be waiting for you to transfer you to your selected hotel.

Between 08:00 to 08:30am, we will start our trip to explore of the Sacred Valley. On the way there, there will be few short breaks to embrace the wonderful contour. In fact the area offers a perfect scenery to sightsee. Whether you are an advanced explorer or not, this tour will take you to the unthinkable.
As soon as we arrive to Pisac complex site, we will wander around and learn about the history behind the terraces, drainage system, fountains, chambers, temples, palaces, and one of the largest Inca cemeteries. Later we will visit the Pisac Andean town host of an interesting and colourful handcraft market that offers thousands of authentic local souvenirs where you could find your perfect souvenir. Next we will board our bus heading to Urubamba, along the Vilcanota river bank. As you arrive, you will take part of an Andean buffet lunch. After some time, we will get toOllantaytambo fortress where you can appreciate gigantic Inca walls, terraces, fountains, canals and chambers built with highly advanced features. Finally, we will assist you to the train station so you can board you transport to Machupicchu town (90’). Upon your arrival our local agent will welcome you and transfer you to your arranged hotel.

We will begin this special adventure at 05:30am by getting on a bus that follows the Hiram Bingham dirt road until Machupicchu sanctuary. Once there, we will be ready to immerse ourselves in the magic of the Inca kingdom world in order to attempt an understanding of how and why Machupicchu was built here. Within this area we will visit the sun temple which presents a spectacular carved wall considered one of the finest representation of the Incas architecture. We continue onto the temple of the three window, the shrine site of Inti Huatana “sundial”, the industrial zone, and the temple of Condor. From here, you are invited to keep exploring the area walk to the classic view point. Bear in mind that you need to take your bus at a convenient time in order to be 30 minutes before your train departs. Once you board your train to Ollantaytambo a local representative will take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

At coordinate time, our local staff will come to your hotel and take you to the airport or bus station. As this is completed our services end.
