The journey toward the clouds begins at 2:00 PM, as we depart from the historic town of Nasca. Our destination is km 21 of the Nasca–Puquio highway, the gateway to one of the most geographically diverse landscapes in Peru. The first leg of our expedition involves a 2-hour gradual hike. Following this moment of reflection, we begin the final ascent: a 1.5-hour hike to the summit. Reaching the top of the world’s highest sand dune at 2,078 meters is a triumph of will. From this vantage point, you are treated to panoramic views that stretch across the Nasca plains to the Pacific horizon, culminating in a breathtaking sunset that paints the sand in impossible shades of gold and violet.

As the desert chill sets in, the luxury of the experience elevates. You will be served an open-air dinner featuring gourmet local flavors, perfectly paired with a selection of local wine from the Nasca Valley.
