This adventure and cultural excursion can be taken everyday at 13:30 hrs. We will visit the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman with its enormous Inca zigzag shape walls, place that also offers a wonderful spot to contemplate the city of Cusco. Then we will drive to Quencco archeological site in order to appreciate carved stones, which represented the royal Inca altars that were used to worship the Mother Earth. Later we will explore the sites of Tambomachay and Puca Pucara, home of real stunning constructions. At each site we will have the opportunity to observe and enjoy the beauty built by stone mason. Here, you will also observe an Inca water canal still kept in perfect conditions and been used by local farmers. As we continue in this tour, we will get to Sacsayhuaman, one of the most magnificent fortress, where two special events were hosted by the Incas every year; the first was in honor to the sun as it was though as leaving and the second was to receive the first day of the Year. After experiencing and enjoying this area, we will drive back to Cusco to visit the colonial Cathedral located at the Main Square, which in its interior displays a well-kept spectacular collection of paintings from the XVII and XVIII centuries. You will truly be enriched by this experience, highly admired and rated by visitors. Finally, we will head to the temple of sun well known as Qoricancha. This beautiful Inca building is unique not only because of its exclusive walls, but also because of its chambers with special paintings collections from the colonial time.
