Discover the Southern Valley of Cuzco, visit the stunning place of Andahuaylillas where you can appreciate the stunning Sistine American chapel, host of a great number of interesting frescos with framed with gold details from XVII –XVIII century. After, visit the hydraulic engineering channels of Tipon, based on a system of narrow and sophisticated fountains. From here we will head to Pikillaccta, a large archaeological site built by the Wari culture about 700AD, area which is composed by perfectly constructed walls that enclose the main chambers and passages that are permitted to go through.

Andahuaylillas Church
This land tour departures every morning, you could either go alone or as a couple. We will arrange everything in order for you to enjoy the ancient monuments beyond your expectations. Just about 30km south east of Cusco, it is a waiting for you the intricate Inca baths and sophisticated irrigation system currently functioning despite the drawbacks of the time including the Spanish invasion. This these brilliant engineering construction not only provides endless amounts of water to the local farmers during the entire year, but also provides an opportunity for you to enjoy its spectacular vistas. Sightseeing around, you will be able to go on short walks to observe the wildlife and interact with few community members. From here, we will continue to Pikillaccta where you can observe the first settlement of the Wari Empire. This site congregates unique walls, passages, and chambers, all part of a fascinating story which dates back to 700 AD to 1200 AD. As our tour continues, we will head to the village of Anahuaylillas, home of an amazing 17th century church, also known as the “Andean Sistine Chapel”. The church was built at an Incan ceremonial site, its altar is decorated with gold leafs, representing catholic and Quechua symbols. Other interesting sights in this tour are the local museum of the Inca and the local hand craft market. If you wish you may look at them or just wander and mingle with local families, interact with new friends, or simply take some photos. From here we will board our transport so you return to your hotel where our services end.
