Admire the highest navigable lake in the world “Titicaca”, considered the birthplace of the Incas, so on this tour you will admire its spectacular contour of this great place. Along the way you will meet local people from Uros, famous by their floating island with a unique traditional character. Continuing on this tour, you will visit the Amantani Island, here the local families has been practicing a traditional way of life since Inca time. On the next day, another adventure on the way to Taquile Island, famous by its local hand craft market in which the men are the famous weaving, kitting, just as their ancestors have made 1500 years ago.

Itinerary
At 09:00am, we will pick you up and transfer you from your hotel to the main departure point; where we will be joined by other participants. Once everyone is on the boat, we will head straight away to Uros Island. As soon as we arrive, we will be welcomed by the islanders who will show you the significance of this site. As you enter the traditional houses, you will immediately notice that everything in there is made of reeds, from the floor to the top roof; even more interesting, because you are actually over water, you will feel like you are walking on a water bed. Since the islanders have been living here for many years, they learned to work as a team, helping each other (reciprocity). After we finished visiting this island, we will continue visiting other islands so we can appreciate the unique life styles practiced by the islanders for more than 2,000 years. Finally, we will get back to Puno to drop you off at your hotel where our service ends.
