This enormous archaeological site dates back 1800 years. Considered one of the most important Pre Inca religious sites, this has been studied by different archaeologists attributing these early constructions to the Lima culture. Later influence of Wari Culture can be seen in some new buildings, Wari culture originated from the highlands of Ayacucho but were later conquered by the Incas. Pachacamac impressive remaindings confirm that this was indeed a sacred religious site where a great number of people used to arrive carrying offerings for the royal class members which were considered as Gods.

Description
At 9:00am our local representative will pick you up from your hotel. Once you are joined by other members, we will start our sightseeing excursion to Pachacamac where we will arrive in approximately 50 minutes so we can commence the exploration. Our local guide will show you, the magnificence of the passages, ramps, steps, courtyards, and pyramids. At each site, our experienced guide will share his knowledge of the area so you can better understand and enrich this unforgettable experience. Along the passage there will be few opportunities to wander at your own time. Several investigators considered that Pachacamac must have been used as pilgrimage centre, where many people arrived and hosted festivals to worship their gods. One of the most exclusive buildings is the one called as the ¨chosen house¨ where the most beautiful women (daughters of the god sun) used to live. After strolling along this great historical building, we will visit the museum of Pachacamac in order to observe hundreds of original artefacts that were found during different excavations. Following this, we are now ready to board the bus and return to your hotel where our service ends.
