1. Pick-up from your hotel in Nazca
Early in the morning (between 8:00 – 8:30 a.m.), we will pick you up from your accommodation in Nazca to begin this cultural experience in the coastal desert of southern Peru.

2. Transfer to Palpa (30 km)
We head north toward the town of Palpa. During the journey, our guide will provide information about the region, its pre-Incan cultures, and the mystery surrounding its geoglyphic figures.

3. Visit to the Metallic Viewpoints of Palpa and Nasca
From strategically placed elevated platforms, you’ll have a clear view of unique figures etched into the ground, known as the Palpa Lines and Nasca Lines. These ancient geoglyphs, over 2,000 years old, depict geometric shapes, animals, human figures, and ritual scenes.

4. Visit to the Chichitara Petroglyphs (8 km from Palpa)
We continue to the archaeological zone of Chichitara, an enigmatic site where you’ll see more than 100 petroglyphs carved into volcanic rock. Figures such as the two-headed serpent, birds, felines, and religious symbols still spark debate among archaeologists. Most are attributed to the Paracas culture.

5. Visit to the Palpa Museum
To conclude the experience, we’ll visit the small but valuable Palpa Museum, which houses archaeological artifacts such as ceramics, textiles, mummies, and items made of gold and stone that enrich the story seen in the field.

6. Return to Nazca
After this cultural tour, we’ll return to the city of Nazca in our tourist vehicle (estimated arrival: 1:00 – 1:30 p.m.).
